The live-action feature film adaptation of the dystopian "Attack on Titan" manga series won't hit big screens until 2015, but fans can get a peek at what the human-devouring creatures will look like as early as next month.
In collaboration with the film's director, Shinji Higuchi, Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. Is going to air a commercial in January for its Subaru Forester SUV that will include the giant live-action Titan monsters for the first time.
The TV ad will air in late January during the "Kinyo Roadshow!" (Friday Roadshow!) movie slot held by Nippon Television Network Corp. and its affiliated broadcasters.
FHI has set up a special website with storyboard illustrations drawn by Higuchi and behind-the-scenes photos from the set. The latest information about the movie will be shown on their site.
Created by Hajime Isayama, "Attack on Titan" has been running in Kodansha Ltd.'s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine monthly comic anthology.
It talks about the story of humans forced to live within high walls that protect them from the Titans, giant creatures that eat humans but don’t necessarily have to eat to survive since they get energy from the sun. When one of the walls is breached by a colossal giant, the humans are thrown into a hopeless battle with the titans in order to survive.
Currently spanning 12 volumes, the manga has over 28 million copies in print. An animated TV series adaptation aired earlier this year. "Attack on Titan" has been published in other languages, and the English volumes have been on The New York Times' manga bestseller list for many weeks.
Higuchi took over the live-action adaptation project from Tetsuya Nakashima after the "Confessions" director dropped out of the project. Higuchi is best known for the "Gamera" monster film trilogy, "Japan Sinks," and the short film "A Giant Warrior Descends on Tokyo."
Visit Subaru Forester's special website at (http://shingeki-forester.net/).

To see the original story in Japanese, go to the official site of "Anime Anime" (http://animeanime.jp/).

when i am talking about season 2 i am talking about the anime and the manga and i don't think people classify it by seasons when they are talking about manga people do call them sagas when talking about both anime and manga and pretty sure sagas and seasons are the same except they use saga for anime and manga

Scrap a company that makes real escape games is developing an attack on titans game Players take on the role of new recruits into the Scout Corps the people who fight to protect people from the man eating titans. On the players first day as members of the corps the city is attacked by the titans. Instead of the pairs of sword and the other gears used to fight the titans in the anime series your goal is to flee to the inner sanctum of the walled city, solving puzzles to pass through the gates in the anti-Titan walls along the way. Players only have a limited time of one hour to escape any person left outside of the inner sanctum of the walled city will presumably be eaten by the titans (or politely guided to the exits by Scrap staff).

New Attack on titans smartphone game which allows the player to spend some time defending the town from titans while the other part of the game is spent sending your own army of titans to attack your enemies town. Players take the role of an exile from the human city.
Forced to live outside of the safety of the protective walls the player has to spent time gathering resources and creating a new town while using his tools to protect the town from the titans who appear periodically.
It looks like that scouring the surrounding county side is an option but a quick way to get supplies for the people is by attacking other towns. You do that by releasing titans who starts running around and cause chaos after you drop it into a town belonging to another player.
The game rewards people who have been successful by giving you access to titans who have both appeared in the anime and manga but You can only sent the titans into combat once.
The game is called Attack on Titan – The Roar Towards Freedom it features a new character called Fereta, who hands out explanations and hints during the in-game tutorial. Regular human who are part of the Attack On Titan's cast show up in promotional artwork, but it’s unsure how large of a role, if any, they play in the actual game.

If you're a fan of Attack on Titan you will have to make a few decisions about what you want from the three editions of Attack on Titan with the first part being released by FUNimation on June 3rd,2014. The details for them is in this link, but it may end up working out well for those that have a particular desire as the can go big with the premium edition and get some limited items as only 7,500 are being made or they can go for the more standard limited edition release. If the extras don't appeal to you they priced a regular edition for the first part and you want end up missing any of the on-disc extras either.

Post by @ BladeSkull Tue Mar 11, 2014 9:10 pm

FUNimation is bringing out some of the new cast for their upcoming June 3rd, 2014 onslaught of Attack on Titan releases and it's not surprisingly, they are going to work around the edges a bit before they get to the main cast. The supporting cast below is pretty solid all around and will definitely work well, though astute dub fans will note a relatively new name in the mix with Chris Hury, who has done a few anime shows before for FUNimation. Check out his agency bio here to get a feel for what he’s done.
